Results time for Warwick candidates 2013

UCASMany potential Warwick students for 2013-14 will receive their A-levels results on Thursday 15 August.

What happens next?

Warwick candidates then receive confirmation of their place or enter Clearing or Adjustment, a process which allows those whose results exceed their expectations to ‘trade up’ to another course or institution.

They can find plenty of advice through the Confirmation & Clearing area of the website and in the online brochure What happens next?

We have a small number of places available in Clearing in 2013, although we are looking for applicants with very strong grades. Where appropriate we will be advertising vacancies on a dedicated website from Thursday 15 August onwards.

Confirmation hotline 15 to 23 August

The Student Admissions and Recruitment Office (SARO) will be engaged in Undergraduate Confirmation from Sunday 11 August throughout the rest of this month and September, the busiest time being the first two weeks.

A Confirmation Hotline service will be operating from the Council Chamber which will open on Thursday 15 August, when candidates receive their results, through to Friday 23 August.

If you receive calls about confirmation, clearing or adjustment, please refer the caller to the team on +44(0) 2476 533 544, making them aware that the hotline is likely to be extremely busy. Please avoid transferring calls to or giving out the personal extension numbers of individual SARO team members as it results in internal departments not being able to reach the Undergraduate Admissions Team (all of whom are actively engaged in Confirmation).

The opening hours for the Confirmation hotline are:

  • Thursday 15 August: 8.00am - 7.00pm
  • Friday 16 August: 8.00am - 6.00pm
  • Saturday 17 August: 9.00am – 3.00pm
  • Monday 19 August: 8.30am – 5.30pm
  • Tuesday 20 - Friday 23 August: 9.00am - 5.00pm

From 23 August onwards, this number will be re-directed to the Undergraduate Admissions Team.

Campus tours

On Thursday 15, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 August, prospective students and guests will be able to visit the university, go on a campus tour and see accommodation. All visitors will have been advised to go to the Mathematics & Statistics (Zeeman Building) from where the visits are coordinated.
