The Estates office gas main works to the Cryfield area was delayed and will start on Tuesday 27 August until Tuesday 10 September 2013.

This works will affect traffic and parking on Leighfield Road (the road to the sports pavilion).

There are also temporary traffic lights installed to manage the traffic on Gibbet Hill Road at the Cryfield roundabout. These are scheduled to run between Tuesday 10 September until Saturday 14 September.

The new main will run from the top of the hill on Leighfield Road down to a point on Gibbet Hill road just below the Cryfield roundabout.

The gas main works is the enabling works for the Cryfield Energy Centre which will be a project starting in September.
