Making Sense of Digital Humanities

This event which will draw upon perspectives, projects and practices at Monash and Warwick in order to make sense of the Digital Humanities (DH). Following an early-morning breakfast (UK), there will be an 8am (BST) live connection to Melbourne (5pm AEST) in order to join their afternoon event. There will be opportunities for open discussion between interdisciplinary teachers, learners, practitioners and researchers.

The Making Sense of Digital Humanities event will take place 8am-10am (BST) on Wednesday 21 May in the International Portal (R0.15), Ramphal Building.

It will be launched by Simon Swain (Pro-Vice Chancellor, Warwick) and Associate Professor Peter Howard (Deputy Dean and Faculty Director, Monash) and facilitated by Jonathan Heron (IATL, Warwick) and Kerryn Morey (Monash).The programme is designed to include short case-studies which will be interwoven with open discussion.
