Thank you to everyone who sent in their photos for the first ever diversity calendar photography competition. We had over 150 entries and the quality of photography was very high. A judging panel made up of representatives from HR, Equality & Diversity, Disability Services and the Chaplaincy shortlisted and chose the winning images, based on which best captured the spirit of the theme of 'Diversity at Warwick'.

Winners

We are delighted to announce that the following staff and students will have their images published in the new diversity calendar 2013/14 at the start of the academic term:

Patricio Palma Tobar, Yi Li, Nur Ahmad Zainon, Jack Patten, Dhruva Chandramouli, Charles Hindhaugh, Andy Gray, Christopher Hartland, Graeme Leng-Ward, Christopher Sharp, Paul Kent, Jennifer Emeny-Green, Richard Cunningham and Marian Orton.

The judges also chose an overall winner from all the entries. Congratulations to Patricio Palma Tobar, whose image 'CAL party - the best multi-cultural group in ELT MA' will appear on the cover of the calendar.

The diversity calendar will be available to download from the Equality & Diversity webpages in early October. If you weren't successful this year, please do send us your photos for consideration for next year's competition. Remember, we're looking for images that capture the essence of what diversity of Warwick represents, whether on campus, or in the local community. Send new entries for 2014/15 to internalcomms@warwick.ac.uk with the subject line 'Diversity Calendar 2014/15'.
