Get involved: New Chancellor's Commission

Richard LambertPlay your part in the next Warwick Commission: The Chancellor’s Commission on the place of Warwick in the region into the University’s second half century.

During 2015, a Warwick Commission, to be chaired by the University’s Chancellor Sir Richard Lambert, will consider the future role of the University of Warwick in Coventry, Warwickshire and the wider region. Sir Richard will lead a panel drawn from business, faith and third sectors as well as politics and the local community to formulate recommendations to ensure that the University’s considerable links in the Midlands remain strong and continue to deliver a return on the original investment of five decades ago.

An exciting development opportunity for administrative staff

The Chancellor’s Commission is looking for existing staff members to help support the Commission, arranging interviews with senior stakeholders, producing summaries of meetings and drafting chapters for the final report.

This should be seen as an exciting professional development opportunity for administrative staff to work on a high profile University activity, interacting with senior stakeholders in the University and within the local community. The commitment would be approximately 1 day per week between March and October 2015 with the agreement of the relevant head of department.

Anyone interested in supporting The Chancellor’s Commission should email Ian Rowley in the first instance or call ext. 24902.
