250Green Steps is an award-winning environmental sustainability educational programme delivered by the University of Warwick Since 2012 and developed by our Partner Institution in Australia Monash University where it has been running since 2000. Application is now open for the 2014 programme.

The programme combines training and real world experience, providing and developing the skills and knowledge to effect environmental change, as well as many other transferable skills essential to successfully progressing in your careers no matter what degree you are studying for or sectors you are interested in.

The Green Steps @ Warwick programme aims to provide you with:

  • Skills and knowledge to be effective change agents within organisations
  • Skills and knowledge to conduct basic sustainability audits
  • Opportunity to enhance your employability skills, increased confidence and effective approaches to operating in a professional context
  • Experience and opportunities working within an environmental sustainability role

Green Steps focuses on the first things to consider when you walk into an organisation, and how to create change through day-to-day interactions, communication and behaviour change. So whether you are an arts student with an interest in environmental issues, a business student with an interest in organisational behaviour or an engineering student with an interest in sustainable technology Green Steps has something to offer.
