Works affecting hot water and heating 3-12 August

Please note that planned refurbishment works to the district heating system is taking place over ten days from Saturday 3 August 2013.

You can view the spreadsheet (Excel Spreadsheet) detailing the works per area. The buildings listed are those that are main campus buildings connected to the main campus energy centre (Boiler House).

  • Cryfield, Gibbet Hill, Hurst, Redfern, Westood Campus areas will not affected by these works.
  • If there is a building that you are concerned about that is not listed then please be assured that there is an alternative source of heating.
  • In Tocil and Rootes Residences, the district heating will remain available until 09:30hrs on Saturday 3 August to cater for Teach First, then it will turned off until 08:00hrs on Monday 12 August.
