The University is saddened to hear that Dr Kajal Mallick, Associate Professor in WMG, passed away over Christmas. He died peacefully in his sleep on 25 December 2013.

Kajal had been at Warwick since 1985, and had many friends across the University, especially in Physics (where he undertook his PhD), Engineering and WMG. There will be an institutional book of condolences, so there will be opportunities for staff and students to pay their respects.

Following the funeral on Wednesday 8 January 2014, there was a gathering in the International Manufacturing Centre (IMC).
