Funding Opportunity - New call announced for Knowledge Economy Partnership, British Council India
Application deadline 5pm India Standard Time on Monday 28 October 2013
Knowledge Economy Partnerships support collaboration between UK and Indian academic institutions. They provide seed funding for project activities and exchange visits between India and the UK for the primary purpose of building capacity. They help strengthen policy and practice of Higher Education in India and the United Kingdom.
Recognised Higher Education Institutions in UK and India are eligible to apply for these partnerships. Government departments, industries, accreditation agencies and other education bodies can come in as secondary partners if they bring in expertise, knowledge, skills and co- funding.
Funding
The Partnerships are for a maximum of one year and the funding will range between £5,000 and £20,000.
Important Dates
The deadline for submission of electronic copy of the proposal is Monday 28 October 2013 by 5pm IST.

Making an application
Please complete the application and email the electronic copy to IHE dot India at in dot britishcouncil dot org followed by a hard copy with approval from institution authorities.

Hundreds have given their views and ideas on developing a Warwick in India strategy through a community wide consultation. New collaborative research in India and with Indian collaborators will be a key element of the emerging strategy.
