Orientation for international students 2013

Oninter.jpg Tuesday 24 September 2013, we welcome over 1000 students from more than 80 countries to the University’s Orientation programme for newly arrived international students.

Supported by a team of 80 enthusiastic student volunteers, the programme is organised by the International Office in partnership with the Students’ Union. Our team of dedicated helpers will be dressed in red t-shirts and will guide our new students through the four day programme.

Orientation 2013 aims to familiarise students with campus and the local area, enrol with the University, start the process of opening a bank account and register with a doctor.

Attendees will be welcomed formally at a Drinks Reception and will spend the four days attending Key Skills seminars and a varied social programme in order to introduce them to the Warwick student community and academic life in the UK. The programme will end on Friday evening with a Closing Ceremony in the Butterworth Hall.
