IT Services has recently renewed the University's Kaspersky anti-virus licence. If you use Kaspersky on a machine that isn't managed by IT Services, you must update your licence before your current one expires on Monday 10 March 2014 in order to remain protected.

If you use the Managed Windows 7 Desktop, you do not need to take any action as this will be updated for you by IT Services.

In addition, when the new licence term commences on 10 March, server operating systems will no-longer be licensed to run Kaspersky. Please see the Kaspersky renewal pages for further information and instructions for updating your licence.
