Road improvements start 23 June: Gibbet Hill Road closed from 30 June

Our joint programme of works with Coventry City Council (CCC) to improve safety along Gibbet Hill Road and the capacity of local junctions will start on Monday 23 June 2014.

We are pleased to say that Gibbet Hill Road will now remain open to traffic in both directions until the evening of Sunday 29 June (although do be prepared for some minor delays as road improvements begin). It will also still be possible to exit campus at the top of Library Road during this week.

All bus routes and timetables will therefore continue as normal until the evening of Sunday 29 June.

We hope that this will help students who are leaving campus, and generally reduce disruption during the final week of term.

After this, Gibbet Hill Road will be completely closed to all normal traffic between the Bluebell roundabout and the Scarman roundabout. This will be in effect from Monday 30 June to October 2014 as previously reported.
