Last chance to apply for Warwick Advantage and Global Advantage Awards

You've got until Wednesday 13 March to apply for the 2013 Warwick Advantage and Global Advantage Awards.

The Awards provide a great opportunity for current students to reflect on and capture their unique skills in preparation for employer application forms and interviews. Applications are welcomed from home and international students, and from both undergraduate and postgraduates.

There are two types of awards:

Warwick Advantage Awards

Advantage Awards provide University recognition and reward for the time and effort that students put into societies, sports clubs, campaigns, committees, volunteering, events and everything else that isn't degree-related (including work experience and the Undergraduate Research Scholarship Scheme).

Global Warwick Advantage Awards

Global Awards recognise student’s development of their global capabilities through interaction with people from different nationalities & cultures (in the UK or overseas). Students who win a Gold Global Advantage Award will have the opportunity to be selected to attend a One Young World summit in Johannesburg in October this year.

Deadline for both awards: Wednesday 13 March 2013

The Warwick Advantage Gold Award not only gave me the skills and confidence to succeed, but my current employer cited it as the clinching factor in their final decision in offering me a job. Twelve months after their original job offer I progressed to a managerial position with the world’s leading sport for development charity."
