IGGY Lord Knight scholarship applications open

250Applications are now open for The Lord Knight Scholarship in Education and Politics. The IGGY Scholarships are awards of annual membership for non current IGGY Members. An expert in each specific discipline sets a challenge for their scholarship, and judges the entries. The winner receives IGGY Membership for one year, a personal message from their sponsor, and the accolade of becoming an IGGY Scholar.

Lord Jim Knight was the longest serving Schools minister in the last UK Labour government and was made a life peer in the Dissolution Honours List. Lord Knight’s main policy interests are education, employment, skills and digital technology. You can take a look at our IGGY Meets... Lord Jim Knight video, to find out more about Lord Knight's views and work.

Lord Knight would like applicants for his scholarship to come up with a Manifesto for Education in the Digital Economy. This manifesto should be delivered to camera, and should last between 2-5 minutes. Take a look at more information about the scholarship, including tips to get started.

The deadline for applications is 12:00pm on Monday 2 December 2013.
