Welcome to our new Director of Social Inclusion

Kulbir Shergill has joined Warwick in this newly created strategic role within the Strategy and Policy Group.

Commenting on the role, Kulbir says:

I’m delighted to be joining one of the best universities on the planet. It is right in so many ways that Warwick wants to be best in class when it comes to social inclusion, and I look forward to working with many colleagues across the university who contribute to this important agenda.”

Kulbir brings to Warwick over 20 years’ experience of leading and implementing equalities, diversity and inclusion activities and strategies. She has worked with a wide range of public-facing entities including housing associations, charities, local and central government and professional bodies. In her capacity as a consultant her clients included The Bank of England, AXA Investment, KPMG, Accenture, Harvey Nash, The Law Society, The Carbon Trust and Grant Thornton.

Kulbir has a wide range of interests outside of work, which include theatre and live music. She is a regular visitor to the V&A, Royal Academy and Tate. Kulbir is a member of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants where she organises development activities for members.
