jobs.ac.uk - attract highly-educated and global audience

jobs.ac.ukThe results from the latest National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS) has revealed that jobs.ac.uk continues to attract a diverse and highly-educated audience from across the globe.

The survey, which was conducted independently by Enhance Media, collects key market data from the online visitors worldwide that use jobs.ac.uk to find academic, research, science and related jobs. A total of 15,576 jobseekers completed the latest survey, making it the largest collection of academic jobseeker trends and behaviours in the world. With increasing competition from universities and research institutions to attract international academics, the survey also asked jobseekers specific questions about relocation for academic opportunities abroad.

The survey found that:

  • 90% of all jobs.ac.uk users have a degree, masters or doctorate, demonstrating their ability to attract a high calibre audience.
  • 81% of jobseekers have considered an academic opportunity abroad which was an 11% increase from the same survey in 2012.
  • 78% of jobseekers would also go on to accept an academic opportunity abroad if it was offered by an international employer - an increase of 9% compared to 2012.

Carl Freelove, Marketing Manager at jobs.ac.uk, said:
