Nurse Review Reports
As staff and students may know – the Nurse Review - a formal review of the UK’s research councils reported on 19 November 2015.

Sir Paul Nurse led an Advisory Group to consider how research councils can evolve to support research in the most effective ways.
A government consultation ran earlier this year, to gather views from the research community to help inform the report. Warwick submitted a paper to this consultation, which you can read here 
Research Councils UK (RCUK) have issued a joint statement on behalf of the Research Councils in response to the report. You can also read the HEFCE response to Nurse review.
The seven Research Councils are:
Arts and Humanities Research Council
Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC)
Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC)
Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC)
