Learn more about Open Access

Tuesday 22 October, Wolfson Research Exchange, Floor 3 Extension of the Library 12-2pm

Recent Open Access (OA) mandates from the RCUK and the Wellcome Trust, now mean funded researchers must make their outputs OA. The University has responded to this with its own OA policy which went live on 1 April 1 2013 alongside funder mandates.

This session marks the beginning Global Open Access Week, and provides an informal discussion-based review of the current OA policies and issues facing research staff and postgraduate students. The session will also include a practical demonstration on WRAP, Warwick’s repository for research outputs, and how you can get your work included.

To take part, come along on Tuesday 22 October, to the Wolfson Research Exchange, Floor 3 Extension of the Library. Bring your lunch and your laptop (to take part in the WRAP demo*), and the Library will provide the tea, coffee and biscuits!
