Opera Warwick's Cinderella returns to Warwick Arts Centre

CinderellaOpera Warwick's popular production of Cinderella returns to Warwick Arts Centre from 25-27 April 2013 following unprecedented demand, 5-star reviews and a sell-out run in January.

A student society, Opera Warwick has developed an impressive and forward-looking reputation over the past ten years, consistently aiming to produce imaginative and ground-breaking productions which emphasise the fact that opera is as exciting and accessible an art form as any other. Cinderella is their largest and most ambitious production yet.

Crashing the party, the ground-breaking production of Rossini's masterpiece La Cenerentola brings the timeless story of Cinderella to the vibrant setting of 21st-century Essex.

Against the backdrop of a glitzy nightclub, this colourful opera features a cutting-edge English translation, live video projection, a fierce dance cast and a considerable amount of bronzer.

No matter if it’s the first or fiftieth opera you have seen, Cinderella is a show that can be enjoyed by everyone. Get ready for a playful adaptation that'll keep you smiling long past the stroke of midnight!
