Women of Pakistan Scholarship – Fundraising Buffet Lunch

pw2Come along and enjoy a fundraising buffet lunch on Thursday 19 June, 12-2pm in the Chaplaincy to help support the Women of Pakistan Scholarship.

Warwick is seeking philanthropic support for an innovative new scholarship to enable female students from Pakistan to achieve their personal and academic potential.

They need to raise £30,000 per year to fund an annual scholarship. Your gifts to this important cause will fund the fees, travel costs, and a living stipend for one exceptional Postgraduate female student to complete a one year LLM qualification in Warwick’s renowned School of Law.

Your support will help empower marginalised women in Pakistan to achieve their potential, by crossing cultural boundaries and expanding their horizons. You will help them to find their voice and contribute to dialogues that will advance the field of Law and the position of women in society, both in the UK and Pakistan.

This event is open to staff, students and the public and the suggested minimum donation for the buffet lunch is £4.00. Directions to the Chaplaincy can be found here.
