Building our Postgraduate community
In the coming months, the Community Engagement Team in the Library will be building a programme of activities to enhance the Postgraduate experience and build a sense of the Warwick 'community' through cultural and wellbeing events, skills workshops, celebratory activities and more.
The team are very keen to collaborate with colleagues across campus. Postgraduate Summer Fête
A huge thank you to everybody involved in our Postgraduate Summer Fête, which took place on Thursday 23 July 2015. Over 350 postgrads took the opportunity to take a break from their work, play games, listen to live music, have a drink and generally chill out. This wouldn’t have happened without the help of colleagues across campus, ensuring that students from all departments had the opportunity to get involved.
Live music was provided by Amapola, a local Latin band (of Warwick postgraduates), who kept the summer vibe alive while students played hook-a-duck, whack-a-thesis, and other giant board games, as well using props in the photo booth to capture their day.
