Great Start for Warwick Project Management Network

img_0009.jpgThe first event of the Warwick Project Management (PM) Network attracted over 30 colleagues from across the University to share knowledge and ideas with their peers over coffee and cake. The aim of the Network is to bring together colleagues that are interested in project management to share experience and best practice.

The event began with an introduction to the aims of the PM Network from James Farnhill, IT Services Project Management Office and Suzanne England, Strategy and Change Office. It then moved on to the main focus of the event - lightning talks. These gave colleagues the opportunity to showcase their project or discuss a technique they used or a challenge they faced, creating talking points for the networking that followed.

Feedback for the event has been very positive with many people making new contacts. Further events are planned over the course of the year.

If you weren’t involved in the first one, and are interested in becoming part of the PM Network, please send us your details via the brief profile form.
