Learning Grid Rootes: 1st anniversary celebrations

On Tuesday 20 May 2014 Learning Grid Rootes will celebrate its 1st anniversary.

To mark a very successful year there will be an informal ceremony with cake rooteson hand for those in the space at lunchtime.

So far Grid Rootes has been extremely popular with the student community with nearly 5000 different members of the university visiting the space so far in Term 3. Grid Rootes offers the same service model of peer support as the other three Learning Grids - University House, Biomed Grid, and Learning Grid Leamington.

Student comments:

For me, the grids are the ideal place for group work; being able to book presentation rooms so easily has really helped with my group projects over the past year."

"Really great space to work in and actually be productive!"

Learning Grid Rootes offers students the chance to study on campus between 8am and 10pm seven days a week. Situated on the ground floor of the Rootes Building, the Learning Grid has two bookable rooms, a collaborative work area, and an area designed around individual study.
