Take part in the Warwick Active Running Grid Challenge

Running GridThe Running Grid Challenge is a two week event taking place from Monday 6 to Monday 20 May 2013. It will see all levels of abilities from staff and students pit themselves against each other to walk, jog and run their way to becoming Warwick Active.

The Challenge aims to create some friendly rivalry and challenge people to get themselves active in some shape or form. Whether you regularly clock up a couple miles or are completely new to running; take a break from work/exam/study stress to get outside and moving.

Entry:

You can enter as an individual or as a team. Whether you walk, jog or run this challenge will fit all shapes and sizes. We will be rewarding people based on improvements, regularity of running and dedication to the challenge.

Score:

One point per person per kilometre. You will log your score through Map My Run (Don’t have a smartphone? Join one of our open running groups to take part in the challenge).

Prizes:

We have running jackets, t-shirts, Aasics running gear, Nike smartphone holders, personal training and Lifestyle class vouchers and much more on offer.

Who:

We will be awarding both groups and individuals including top staff, top student, top activator, most improved and for those creative people out there; most creative route!

Cost:

Sign up for Warwick Active Running membership for £3. This will give you access to our route database, open running groups, grid challenge membership and much more.
