Student experience surveys

All full-time students have been invited to take part in the Student Barometer or the International Student Barometer survey 2017, an independent global survey of student experience which Warwick takes part in biannually.

Why does Warwick participate?

These surveys track and compare the decision-making, expectations, perceptions and intentions of UK and international students from application to graduation.

The insights provided into arrivals, learning, living and support help us to enhance the student experience - alongside the results of surveys such as the National Student Survey, the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey and the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey.

The surveys help to measure and drive up quality standards across academic and administrative departments and campus and commercial services.

We’re also able to use the surveys as an important benchmarking tool, enabling us to make comparisons to our competitors inside and outside the Russell Group.

What can I do?

Encourage students to take part in the Student Barometer or International Student Barometer. Please display the posters and digital slides that will shortly be provided to departments.

Access the results and look at how they can inform improvements in your area.

The surveys close on Friday 1 December 2017.

We’re expecting to have headline results to share with departments before the Christmas break, with detailed results to follow in the Spring term.
