Warwick Skills Enterprise Scheme

The new Warwick Enterprise Skills Scheme is an introduction to the skills, strengths and behaviours that make up an enterprising individual. You could chose to apply these skills to starting your own business or to developing an enterprising mindset that will be useful to you whatever career choice you make.

Once you have completed the five week scheme you will have more confidence to:

• Present your ideas to a range of audiences
• Understand your unique strengths and how to develop these
• Learn how to think creatively and overcome procrastination
• Generate an enterprising profile and CV
• Grow your networks
• Take risks and learn from feedback

The programme is designed to help you develop new skills and to practice these in a group of like-minded students. Learning will be through a mix of exercises, case studies and input from past Warwick students who have gone on to set up their own enterprises or use enterprise skills in a range of different organisations.

The scheme will run on Tuesday evenings over five weeks (starting in Week 9) and at the end of the programme there will be an opportunity for participants to pitch for a small amount of funding to develop their own idea for a business or social enterprise.

To sign-up for the scheme, or for more information, please contact Richard Groves (Enterprise Development Officer) at enterprise at warwick dot ac dot uk Places on the scheme are limited, so please let us know if you’re interested and would like to sign-up.
