The Students' Union has won a National Union of Students (NUS) Green Impact Gold award. The award comes in recognition of the SU's positive environmental actions over the past year. Warwick received a score of 186 out of a possible 248. The average score for Commercial Unions was 82.

Over 100 students' unions across the UK took part in the competition this year, taking actions like combating the declining honey-bee population, setting up ethical credit unions, and promoting health and wellbeing across the wider community.

Ben Sundell, President of Warwick SU, said:

"Warwick SU really should be commended for such a fantastic result in the NUS Green Impact Awards, and fully deserves its Gold.
