Tickets are now on sale for TEDxWarwick 2013, which takes place on Saturday 9 March in the Butterworth Hall. The theme for this year is Building Bridges, focusing on connections between communities, disciplines and places.

This year's theme

The world is both expanding and contracting: global networks proliferate, yet distance is no longer a barrier. At the same time, traditional boundaries in technology, science, art and academia are becoming increasingly blurred. Links are constantly being forged between everything from physics to photography and biology to computing. Discover what awaits the world of tomorrow at TEDxWarwick 2013.

About TED

TED is a nonprofit devoted to 'Ideas Worth Spreading'. It started out in 1984 as a conference, bringing together people from the worlds of Technology, Entertainment and Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Find out more on the TED website.
