Warwick Student becomes first female Law Undergraduate of the Year

Awards ceremony photoAt the annual TARGETjobs Undergraduate of the Year Awards, held on 19 April, Warwick student Stephanie Esuola beat eight other finalists to win Law Undergraduate of the Year. Stephanie wins an iPad and a summer work placement with Mayer Brown, a leading global law firm. Stephanie is the first female student to win this award.

Through a series of online tests, application forms, interviews and assessment exercies, Stephanie emerged as the overall winner from a very strong field. Mayer Brown, who sponsor the award, targeted a small, select group of universities to invite them to enter candidates, so Stephanie took on competition from the best students in the UK's leading establishments.

Stephanie mentors a first year student and has undertaken work experience in a diverse range of law firms.
