Economics welcome Summer School students

WESSThe Department of Economics is delighted to welcome around 100 students from 20 different countries to Warwick’s first ever Economics Summer School.

The Summer School began on Sunday 20 July 2014 and will draw to a close on Friday 8 August. Courses in a wide range of Economics are being taught by our top faculty members and this exciting new venture will enable more students to benefit from our excellent teaching and academic expertise.

During the three weeks, Summer School students are enjoying a mix of academic study, a fun social programme and the opportunity to engage with a series of prominent guest speakers. The social programme has included day trips to Stratford and London, a lively mediaeval banquet at Coombe Abbey, pizza and a film on the piazza and welcome dinner.

Full details of the 2014 Summer School programme can be found on the Economics webpages along with a photo gallery and highlights of the Summer School so far. Please do help to make all Summer School guests feel welcome as they enjoy our beautiful Warwick campus.
