During their major new touring exhibition, Workplace, the Mead Gallery is encouraging staff and students to use the gallery as their own workplace, to write (or mark) essays, hold project meetings or simply have lunch in the gallery space.

The Mead Gallery will be providing desk and meeting spaces for individuals and groups to utilise in the same way they would their own offices or classrooms. This is a unique opportunity to become part of the art - book a slot and escape your own workplace for a while.

You can book a slot for hot-desking or meetings over the duration of the exhibition. You can use the online reservation system - slots are divided into two hour portions for use of the desk space, and four-hour portions for use of the meeting space. You can book multiple slots if you would like to make use of the space for a full day.

Book a meeting space online, book a hot desk online, call the gallery desk on 024 7652 2589, or simply walk up.

The exhibition runs until 9 March 2013.
