Accolade for Professor Robert Freedman

Professor Robert Freedman, of the Department of Biological Sciences, was named as one of the leading bioscientists contributing to the UK's economic and social wellbeing at a meeting of the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), for his research into protein folding and its implications for improving next generation pharmaceutical production.
Dr Suzanne Dilly, of the University of Warwick spin out company a2sp Limited, was also named for her research into exploiting unexpected side effects of drugs.
