The Centre for Lifelong Learning's Sector-Endorsed Foundation Degree in Early Years (SEFDEY) has been awarded second place and received a Highly Commended Certificate in this year's Universities Association for Lifelong Learning (UALL) Awards. SEFDEY provides a unique, innovative programme specifically targeting non-traditional learners from a diverse range of professional, social and cultural backgrounds. It attracts students currently working in Early Years settings, who are seeking qualifications, and forms a key component of the University's widening participation strategy.
