Professor David Dabydeen, of the Centre for Translation and Comparative Cultural Studies, has won the Hind Rattan Award for his outstanding contribution to the literary and intellectual life of the Indian Diaspora. The Award will be presented by the NRI Welfare Society of India at the International Congress of Non Resident Indians in January.
