The University is saddened to hear that Senior Research Scientist Dr Dez Barbara, from the Warwick Crop Centre in the School of Life Sciences, died on Sunday night after a short period in hospital.

Professor Brian Thomas, Deputy Head of the School of Life Sciences, said:

Our thoughts go out to his wife Anne and his family. Dez will be greatly missed both within the School and the wider Science and Horticulture Community.
