Edward Lynch awarded Fellowship in the ASDA

Edward Lynch, Head of Dentistry at Warwick Medical School, has become the first person in the UK to be awarded a Fellowship in the American Society for Dental Aesthetics (ASDA).

The ASDA is the world's first organisation for Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry. Founded in 1978, it recognises and accredits dental education and educators and fellowship is conferred on members who have shown exceptional achievement and leadership in the profession and in enhancing the practice and image of dentistry for the public.

Commenting on Edward's fellowship, the Society stated:

Edward Lynch is an exemplary inspirational dental researcher, teacher, leader and practitioner with world recognized clinical skills. He has taught tens of thousands of dentists all over the world, and is widely recognized as one of the leading authorities in the dental field. His research has opened new branches of dental treatment, and his 500+ publications, both in respected peer reviewed research journals and foundational textbooks, are cited very frequently. He is also a specialist in 3 disciplines, Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry as well as being a BUPA Consultant in Oral Surgery."
