The University is sad to announce the death of Erica Vickers, a long standing member of the Student Finance Team, who has passed away having recently been diagnosed with cancer. Erica was courageous in dealing with her illness and will be remembered by the team and the wider University for her positive and unwavering commitment to Warwick over her many years of service.

Erica started her working career at the University back in 1978 within the Academic Office. Erica had seen many changes at the University in her lifetime, and was regarded by us all as the font of all knowledge for all things fee and student finance related. Erica was known for her support to staff throughout the University within the context of her role, not just other members of the Student Finance team, and for this she will be sorely missed.

A Book of Condolence will open later this week in the Chaplaincy for all colleagues who wish to share their thought and reflections following this difficult news. Erica is survived by her husband Paul and her sisters, brother and nieces and our thoughts and condolences are with them all at this very sad time.
