Professor Jane Hutton awarded Gopal Kanji Prize

Professor Jane Hutton, Department of Statistics, along with former PhD Student Judith Anzures-Cabrera has been awarded the Gopal Kanji Prize by the Journal of Applied Statistics.

The award comes in recognition of their paper on the long-term survival rates of A-bomb survivors, comparing people who entered a special benefit as soon as they were offered with those who delayed registering as an A-bomb survivor.

The winner of the Gopal Kanji Prize receives a £500 cash prize and a free subscription to the journal.
