Warwick Welcomes - David Law

Dr David Law, BA Sussex, MPhil Glasgow, PhD Keele, formerly Academic Registrar at the University of Hull, to Academic Registrar from 4 August 2003.

David has been Academic Registrar at the University of Hull since 1998. Previous to this he was based at Keele, where he lectured in history prior to moving into administration as Director of Programmes. David also has secondment experience with the Quality Assurance Agency as an Assistant Director for Quality Assurance.

David will be leading the Academic Office which is currently organised into two main areas: current students/planning matters (which includes planning, examinations, Undergraduate Office, the Graduate School Office and student finance) which are the responsibility of the Senior Assistant Registrar, Nicola Owen; and Student Recruitment and Admissions (including both undergraduate and postgraduate admissions and Degree Congregation) headed by the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions, Ken Sloan. Nicola Owen also acts as Deputy to the Academic Registrar where appropriate.
