Professor Paul Geroski, BA (Bard College, NY) MA PhD (Warw.) was last week confirmed as the new Chairman of the Competition Commission (CC). He will be taking sabbatical leave from the London Business School to take up this full-time position. The University of Warwick congratulates Professor Geroski, a Warwick alumnus, on his appointment.

The Competition Commission is an independent public body established by the Competition Act 1998. It replaced the Monopolies and Mergers Commission on 1 April 1999.
