Alan Robinson has been appointed to the post of General Manager Sales and Marketing for Warwick Conferences.

Alan is the current General Manager of Radcliffe and will commence a six month secondment from 1st June.

Cathy McGreevy, the Current Head of Sales and Marketing, who set up the highly regarded and successful sales team, will be taking up a position in Dubai in June.

Alan will have three key responsibilities.

• First, to head up the sales team and to support them in continuing to achieve their challenging commercial targets.
• Secondly, to bring the conference sales and the four operating units closer together to ensure that we are even more customer focussed. This will include co-ordinating the delivery of the Conference Park product.
• Thirdly, to work with Claviga, our training partner, in progressing the planned training for the sales and operational teams to ensure that we stay ahead of the competition

During Alan's secondment, Sandy Russell, Deputy Manager of Radcliffe, will become acting General Manager
