Gemma Morris, 21, is the new Sports Officer at the Students’ Union. Her campaign slogan was ‘GM Making Sports Grow’.

What's the craziest thing you have ever done?
Entered the Superstars challenge as part of Sports Week 04 and won!

What is your claim to fame?
Being related to Lottie Dodd (for those of you who don’t know her she is the youngest person ever to win Wimbledon!)

What is your favourite saying?
In sporting terms "Pain is temporary, but glory lasts forever!"

What is your favourite recipe, film and book?
Favourite recipe is Thai Green Curry (my new speciality), Favourite film is a toss up between Cruel Intentions and Pulp Fiction, Favourite book has to be Harry Potter, can’t decide which one though, they are all fantastic!

Where do you want to be in 20 years time?
Head of the UK Sport and getting more people involved in sport or which is probably more likely tennis coaching in the Bahamas for $50 an hour and living on a luxury yatch!!

Kenilworth, Warwickshire (yes I have travelled a long way to come to uni!)

Biological Sciences

Societies and Projects?
Lacrosse, Warwicksnow, Sports Federation Committee, anything sports related really!

How many Hours a week do you expect to work?
Between 60 and 70 maybe, or is that too optimistic?

What do you think of Union Council?
I think it is slightly long winded and should not last as long as it does, but I'm sure I will get into it!

What right now is the single biggest problem facing the Students’ Union?
Funding and apathy!!
