CLL Associate Fellow writes report for DfES

Associate Fellow of the Centre for Lifelong Learning, John Berkeley OBE, has written a report for the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) entitled 'Listening to the work-based Learner'. The report includes details of the development and piloting of an online feedback system created for SEMTA, the Sector Skills Council for science, engineering & manufacturing technologies. Its findings and recommendations are applicable in any sector and to any training providers.

The report draws together best practice in gathering and analysing feedback from learners. It also describes how such feedback can become part of the learning process itself, helping to promote a more ‘personalised’ and learner-centred approach to work-based learning.
