Life before Warwick:
At East Malling Research Centre in the fruit garden of England, at that time part of the same Institute. Before that, University of Southampton working on skeletal muscle enzymes and before that a PhD at Leicester University, working on light perception by plants.

Best thing about working at Warwick:
People are always keen to talk about their work and try to help.

Worst thing about working at Warwick:
Traffic queues and parking on campus.

As a young child what did you want to be as a "grown-up"?:
I think at one time I wanted to be a farmer, another time a famous portrait painter, but I think all these were short-lived ideas.

Now that you are grown-up what would be your "dream job"?
An Architect.

What has life's experience taught you so far?:
Not to dwell on things you have finished; or is this an excuse for a poor memory?

Major achievement to date?:
Delivering my younger daughter.

If you could change one thing in the University overnight, what would it be?:
Put the campus at Wellesbourne, but if that is too big a challenge, put Warwick HRI on campus.
