Mead Gallery Competition Winner: Analia Meo
The Mead Gallery would like to thank everyone who entered their competition for tickets and rail fares to visit one of the contemporary art fairs in London this autumn.
The winner was Analia Meo, a PhD student in the Department of Sociology.
Anna is from Argentina and is researching the way in which the character of secondary schooling in Beunos Aires is shaped by the interplay of State education policy with local social differences.
In her winning entry, Analia revealed a real enthusiasm for the visual arts and a strong belief in the ability of art to enhance understanding of life and society.
She has chosen to take a friend to the Frieze Art fair held in Regents Park in October. This brings together over 150 galleries from all over the world, showing the work of the stars of the contemporary art scene.
