Nicola Owen has been appointed as Warwick’s Academic Registrar. Following David Law’s move to focus on international matters, Nicola will take on additional management responsibility for Teaching Quality, Admissions and Student Recruitment and Marketing.

 

Jon Baldwin, Registrar, described the move as “the next step in the sensible rationalisation of academic administration”. Nicola has held senior positions in the academic office since joining Warwick in 2000, becoming a member of the senior officer team last year. Jon Baldwin added: “This appointment significantly strengthens the academic administration at a time of unparalleled change within the sector. I believe it will provide a joined up approach which makes sense both to the academic and student communities at Warwick”.
