Rachel Kerr, Warwick Alumnus of Law & Sociology 2008, has won the 2012 MOBO award for Best Gospel Act.

Rachel was President of the African & Carribean Society during her time at Warwick, and worked as part of the Student Calling team.

Steve Alexander Smith, author of 'British Black Gospel', writing about the nominees on the MOBO blog, commented:
