Richard Harris

It is with great sadness that the University announces the passing of Richard Harris, a Warwick alumnus, at the age of 61 this July. He studied Philosophy and Politics at the University from 1966 to 1969, before moving to London to pursue a career in higher education. At the time of his death, he was the Dean of Quality Assurance at the University of Bedfordshire.

He forged friendships at Warwick that would last throughout his life and is remembered for his thorough and detailed approach to work, his wit and his clear values. Richard met his wife, Mary Lloyd-Langton as a student of the University. He is survived by her, and his two children Sophie and George.
