Warwick Welcomes Sean Russell, former Director of the University of Birmingham's Careers Service, to the University.

Sean will be Acting Director of the Careers Service during Roberta Wooldridge-Smith's maternity leave.

Sean has most recently worked as the Director of the University of Birmingham's Careers Centre, a post which he took up in August 2005. Prior to that, he worked for six years at the University of Bristol's Careers Service, initially as a Careers Adviser and later as Deputy Director. Sean originally read English at Royal Holloway, and went on to complete a PGCE in English, an MA in Education and a Diploma in Careers Guidance in HE.
