Professor Simon Collinson, Warwick Business School, has been appointed 'Chair Professor' at Zhejiang University by Xiaobo Wu, Executive Dean of the School of Management and Director of the National Institute for Innovation Management at Zhejiang University, China. The appointment is for a term of 3 years. Zhejiang University is ranked amongst the top-5 Universities in China.

Simon said:

"My first visit is at the end of this month. I will be conducting joint research on the management of innovation in China with faculty there, as well as providing some input into their Doctoral programme and junior faculty research training."

"For the next three years I will spend brief periods of time at Zhejiang while remaining a full faculty member at Warwick. This will both support in-depth collaborative research and enable a range of links to be developed with Zhejiang University."
